The Gospel

The Gospel is the most important teaching of Christ, which clearly states how God views mankind and how mankind can get to heaven.

SIN HAS SEPARATED YOU FROM GOD.

"There is none that doeth good, no, not one." Romans 3:12b

"All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

DEATH IS THE CONSEQUENCE OF SIN.

"As by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Romans 5:12

"The fearful, and unbelieving...and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8

GOD LOVES YOU AND SENT HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, TO DIE AS YOUR SUBSTITUTE.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and that LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:6

"God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinenrs, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE.

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby ye must be saved." Acts 4:12

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:36

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

YOU CAN BE RECONCILED TO GOD ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.

"God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto hinself. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:19a, 21

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God." 1 Peter 3:18a

YOU CANNOT WORK YOUR WAY TO A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us." Titus 3:5

God has made it possible for you to have your sins forgiven and to be given His righteousness, and He wants you to respond in faith. The Scripture declares, "The Lord is...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

You must believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died, was buried, and rose again for your sins.

The Bible promises, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-11, 13

If you are right now placing your faith in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, pray and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and accept His gift of eternal life. If you have trusted in Christ as your Savior, you are now part of the family of God, and your salvation is secure. "...they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." John 10:28
