Children

At First Baptist Church, we place a high priority on reaching young people for Christ in a safe environment. We want all of the children who come to First Baptist Church to feel safe and loved. Each of the church volunteers who work with children in our ministry are carefully screened by the staff of First Baptist Church and must undergo a background check as well as a yearly training for child safety.

Nursery is available for every service and is equipped with nursery workers that are capable of caring for your child. We maintain proper worker to child ratio to avoid any neglect. Our infant nursery features multiple items such as cribs, swings, and bouncers for both nap and play time. The nurseries also include age-appropriate toys and activities for both infants and toddlers. There is also a private nursing area if needed.

We offer children's church every Sunday morning. Children will join the service with their parents at 9:30 and will be dismissed to children's church during the service. While the adults are worshipping in the main auditorium, children are able to experience a service on their level. With exciting lessons, games, and skits, your child is sure to enjoy this church experience.
